some days ago I made a review of the current Tomb Raider movie (You can find it here) and now I want to judge the newest Tomb Raider videogame called "Rise of the Tomb Raider".

Why I am playing it
I bought it one day after I saw the Tomb Raider movie in cinema. I already played the Tomb Raider game from 2013 but after I watched the fantastic film with Alicia Vikander I just had to buy the newest game of the Tomb Raider series. I am playing it on PC.
The story
Lara Croft - the main character of Tomb Raider - is rushing in a new adventure. She wants to finish the work of her dead father and tries to reveal the secret of the divine source.

To do that she travels to Siberia where she hopes to find the mysterious city of Kitesch.
But the violent organization Trinity tries to find the divine source as well and they want to use it to rule the world. Lara has to stop that, no matter what.
This game is awesome
I played Rise of the Tomb Raider 12 hours so far and haven't finished it yet but I can say: It's amazing!
Why?
First of all, the resolution of the game is fantastic. Rise of the Tomb Raider looks so great, you just want to watch it all day. It is way better than in Tomb Raider(2013) - really great work. That is exactly what gamers want to see.

In addition to that the story is thrilling, I love to discover new tombs and caves. This game has so much to offer:
- many weapons and extensions for them
- a long and exciting story with a lot of side quests
- a great Lara Croft
- many collectable items like letters or relicts
- a huge open world map
- challenging riddles inside of temples and tombs
Conclusion
If you like thrilling shooter-/adventure-videogames with a strong female main character, a huge brilliant looking open world and a lot of things to discover, you'll love Rise of the Tomb Raider 😍
