****HOW WE CAME TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE?****
While participating in Vihaan, we came across a variety of technologies and tools. Although we did not include Hive into our website, our research of Hive piqued our interest and increased our expertise of data management and analytics systems. Vihaan provided a platform for us to study other technologies, allowing us to broaden our knowledge and skill set beyond the confines of our first project.
**# ## OUR PROJECT AND HOW IT WILL IMPACT SOCIETY?
**
Our team has devoted themselves to improving the accessibility and efficiency of sports administration under the ambitious **Viksit Bharat Yojna, **therefore contributing to the nation's wider digital transformation initiatives. With our creative platform, we hope to inspire athletes and encourage sports excellence throughout India.
Our team created a breakthrough website for Vihaan, which represents a key milestone in India's sports sector. This website is the first government-authorized sports portal, providing a comprehensive solution for both sportsmen and sports lovers. It acts as a centralised portal for athlete registration for national-level contests, expediting the procedure and assuring equal access for everyone.
What distinguishes our website is its dynamic features, such as a live menu that displays **real-time news updates **and live results from major athletic events. This real-time data keeps consumers informed and engaged, improving their entire experience on the site.
Furthermore, the team has included a breakthrough chatbot feature on the website, making it the first Indian government website to do so. The chatbot is intended to converse with users in both Hindi and English, appealing to a broader audience and providing ease for users from various language backgrounds. This creative feature improves user engagement and accessibility, setting a new benchmark for government websites in India.
In addition to registration services and live updates, our platform puts athletes' well-being first. We've included a separate segment for necessary medical checks to ensure the fitness and health of all competitors. This emphasis on comprehensive treatment demonstrates our dedication to assisting athletes at all stages of their careers.
We have won the Women in Engineering category at the Vihaan 007 Hackathon. It's a fantastic accomplishment that demonstrates the hard work, devotion, and imaginative attitude of our team members, Shweta, Surbhi, Saumya Yadav, Shirley Dhaka and Vaneeta Ahlawat Throughout the tournament, we encountered various hurdles and barriers, but our joint efforts, tenacity, and enthusiasm for engineering drove us to victory. Winning this hackathon not only acknowledges our technical abilities, but also emphasises the necessity of diversity and inclusiveness in the profession of engineering.
