Somehow exactly the right game for slower, older gamers and maybe the right game at the right time. The huge queues and the relatively fast provided new servers speak a clear language. The game is in demand. According to Gamestar editor-in-chief Heiko Klinge, who wrote an interesting article on the subject, WOW Classic currently has more search queries on Google than Fortnite. And I also know why.
Fortnite surely has its legitimacy and clientele, I do not belong so to it. But there are also enough people who are looking for something like Classic.
I think in 4 weeks the first hype has subsided a bit and the number of players is decreasing. It's all right for me, the people who stay are really Classic players.

Irgendwie genau das richtige Spiel für etwas langsamere, ältere Zocker und vielleicht das richtige Spiel zur richtigen Zeit. Die riesigen Warteschlangen und die relativ zügig bereitgestellten neuen Server sprechen eine deutlich Sprache. Das Spiel ist gefragt. Laut Gamestar Chefredakteur Heiko Klinge, der einen interessanten Artikel zum Thema geschrieben hat, hat WOW Classic zur Zeit mehr Suchanfragen auf Google als Fortnite. Und ich weiß auch warum.
Fortnite hat sicherlich seine Berechtigung und Kundschaft, ich gehöre nicht so dazu. Es gibt aber anscheinend auch genug Menschen, die so etwas wie Classic gesucht haben.
Ich denke in 4 Wochen ist der erste Hype etwas abgeklungen und die Spielerzahlen werden weniger. Ist mir eigentlich ganz recht, die Leute die dann bleiben, sind wirklich Classic Spieler.
