hi-fi mixtape presents I'D LIKE TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Have you ever wondered about changing the world?

It is another sunny Saturday afternoon in Melbourne, and I'm feeling like we need some tunes to groove to while we do our thing.

That was the inspiration behind this show. Each of the songs in some way inspire me to consider what I could do to make the world a better place.

But also, I realised that part of this is about celebration... enjoying what we love, having a good time, and generally being happy.

So I decided to throw together a whole lotta tracks from the 60's and 70's:

• Frank Zappa
• The Yardbirds
• The Byrds
• Uriah Heep
• Small Faces
• The Velvet Underground
• The Moody Blues...

...Just to name a few.

I'll also have a couple of other artists from different decades thrown in, just because I like their stuff.

Meanwhile, I'll be dancing and singing in the kitchen and enjoying life, grateful to be alive and be able to listen to the music I love.
