When the majority of Muslims celebrate Eid al-Adha with cheerful faces, the same feelings cannot be felt by earthquake refugees in Lombok. They were forced to celebrate Eid al-Adha in a refugee camp, because the house was destroyed by an earthquake.
From the monitoring of Antara news agency, residents along with the earthquake volunteer team in Sembalun region together prayed, then slaughtered sacrificial animals. All of this is done at a refugee camp.
Even though they were in refugee camps, there was a family atmosphere between volunteers and refugees from earthquake victims. Curious about how they work together to slaughter sacrificial animals?
- Citizens are grateful because they still get donations during their evacuation
One of the residents of Sembalun Lawang Village named Halim claimed to have fled to emergency tents since the end of July. Although celebrating Eid al-Adha in a situation of deprivation, he admitted that he was still grateful because he still received donations from the government and volunteers.
"Thank God, even though the house was destroyed, but still able to celebrate the feast with the family. Adding more enthusiasm because there are volunteer colleagues, at least there is still a part behind the impression.

In addition to providing assistance in the form of logistics for earthquake refugees, the volunteer team also contributed donated meat to be distributed to residents who were displaced. One of the volunteers who was successfully met named Edo said that he was moved to Sembalun to help with the post-Lombok recovery in the earthquake.
"We also come here as well as convey the mandate of friends from Jakarta. The beef (meat) with this goat is among others, hopefully it will be a blessing," said the man who is a nature lover and lives in Jakarta.
- The government began to rehabilitate damaged houses since.
Vice President Jusuf "JK" Kalla on Tuesday visited the earthquake site in Gunung Sari Sub-district, West Lombok. He also said that the government began to rehabilitate houses for residents starting yesterday.
However, the responsibility for rebuilding damaged houses is entirely in the residents. The government will not hire contractor services to rebuild destroyed houses.
"The government will provide assistance in the form of funds to buy building materials. Meanwhile, the Ministry of PUPR will provide assistance on how to build houses,"
JK also reminded residents that the funds that would be given by the government should not be used to buy other necessities such as cigarettes, motorbikes or television.
"(Funds) must be used properly to buy building materials such as cement, zinc, wood or nails,"

As the final event of the tour, the children recited in groups according to their respective class groups.
