I spent a couple of weeks living in Shizuoka, Yamanashi and Kanagawa prefecture, all surrounding areas of Mount Fuji. I love the nature-focused, preserved cities and places that accentuate a breathtaking Mt Fuji view. Yagisaki Park in 河口湖 Kawaguchiko offered an accessible spot with an effortlessly beautiful view of Mt Fuji over the horizon. It's crazy how this park where families come for picnics has such a wonderful backdrop.
