Some other visitors berselfie and relax on the dam embankment. From the ridge, visitors can descend to the edge of the reservoir through a cement-constructed ladder. There is also a relaxing in a number of huts on the edge of the reservoir.
From the ridge up to the edge of the reservoir there are about 20 huts. In this reservoir jeulikat also the visitors can ride water rides like duck paddle to enjoy the panorama of reservoir Jeulikat.
"I am very happy to play duck paddle with friends in my hometown. I felt the excitement while rowing together and chatting and laughing.
Visitors who want to cross the dam can ride a raft operated by a number of citizens of Jeulikat. The raft with a capacity of about 10 people was pulled using a rope from a hut in the right corner of the reservoir connected to the other side to the south.
Toward the location of the Jeulikat Reservoir can be reached by two lanes. Firstly, from Medan - Banda Aceh, Cunda area, entering Cot Sabong passing the asphalt road which divides the Blang Poroh pass through Gampong Lhok Mon Puteh, MuaraDua Subdistrict, to Gampong Jeulikat. Secondly, from Jalan Medan - Banda Aceh, go to Alak Awe Street Alley or in front of STAIN Malikussaleh campus complex, across Elak Road to Jeulikat.
From the Cot Sabong-Blang line Poroh-Lhok Mon Puteh to the Jeulikat Reservoir, if using the vehicle only takes less than 10 minutes. "Closer from the Cot Sabong line than via the Elak Road Pass to this reservoir,
Jeulikat Reservoir was once covered with wild plants. The surrounding area of the reservoir is then cleaned up after purchase by Lhokseumawe Mayor. This reservoir is used to irrigate the rice fields of residents around the reservoir. In the complex there are also a number of merchants various beverage packaging. However, this afternoon, has not seen a special place / stalls for the traders.
The entrance fee of the jeulikat reservoir is not formally levied but it only pays Rp.5,000 parking fee. According to a number of visitors from Lhokseumawe, they came to the location after hearing the news of a reservoir in the hills of Jeulikat, which was later visited by residents, especially on weekends. My family and I chose a vacation to Jeulikat dam after hearing the beautiful scenery and exciting and interesting tourist rides in the reservoir.
