The tag visualization/videoart/exhibition is now the main channel for this project and any and all posts that are connected with it can be found in the least here, any other posts that use this tag I will also be personally curating and one day hope that it or another one similar like #videoart will be a popular destination on steemit ;)
So........
Here is some initial experimentation, whilst it may seem extraordinarily basic and semi useless it’s because I have to show “progression” in my thought processes to get a good grade (what has art become nowadays-tell me about it)
I experimented with obviously unusable materials like tin foil and paper just to test the refractive curve - however was surprised by the grease proof paper- which actually whilst not having the transparency I require - still had a good back transparency to it and the image that came out was almost perfect a little surprise there.
Then tried clingfilm which was disappointing AF, way too reflective and did not have enough backbone refractiveness to it that it would even show any image on it (what you are seeing is the black background of the chair if that doesn't tell you anything about the material then jheez)
So yeah... It doesn't look like much Iv'e been a little ill past few days and am working on the logistics and material research whilst also holding down a part time job, can't wait until I'm full time steem, today marks my almost 4 months of being here and I will update everyone soon on this crazy ride and experience it has been.
Also really important, need to ask from some other UK Steemians whether they maybe want a meet up?
my telegram is blockchainyouth so hit me up there maybe during whilst the exhibition is going on and we can all do a video together or something!?
THE LAST FAVOUR I ASK I know I am promoting these posts at the moment and sending them to resteem places I can get my hands on , but I don't have many many followers and I appreciate everyone who has already clicked that little button to see the shit I put out there but if you are interested in this project and want to support it please do comment suggestions and spread this around because I want this final baby to be as much the communities as its mine. :)
