So here it is, Merry Christmas every one is having fun..not me though - I'm trying to fit the rubbish in our wheelie bin damn these two weekly collections.
Fortunately the misty windscreen stops you seeing me jumping up and down inside the wheelie bin - rock and roll my life believe it π€π½
But we head off anyway, and stop off at T & P Print, Mr Nellis and his words of Wisdom knows the owner of this factory and is always telling me to drop by on my vlog - so today I finally have! What a fitting spot to find out the exciting things Richard has been upto this week.
Quite Ironically Richard says that he is going to the T & P Print Christmas Party at the Hare and Hounds Pub - just across the road from the factory in this very afternoon - well it has happened now anyway.
It's a bit foggy as we head through Queensbury down to Halifax, we cover my struggles with the iOS Beta updates and of course the fresh install on the MacBook Air - which is running quite well now despite the struggles removing the Windows Bootcamp partition -_-
And this leads us nicely onto Steemit, where it has been a busy week for me including the highest reward post ever gained - from my dad's Badly put together Christmas Tree by me and my boys!
Maybe it was the photobomb by my little photogenic pad wan
It seems every post I do is going well, careful use of the upvote bot's is pushing the rewards - but it's interesting that once you get a post over $50 it will just grow on it's own - all this weeks post got upvoted to the maximum of $60 - but since then have just grown day by day naturally. I think that many people on steemit actively seek out high reward posts to upvote so they can earn a slice of the total post curation reward - so if you get a post high enough with the bots it just grows and grows after that on it's own.
Also this week I discovered the amazing Dik Dik the Devine and very talented has become quite bored with the testosterone filled young men on the internet sending her pictures of their meat and two veg - and has requested instead pictures of the far more photogenic Dik DIk https://steemit.com/funny/@techslut/show-me-your-dik-dik-what-women-online-really-want-to-see - I think she is right - we all need a little more Dik Dik in our lives π³
And while we are discussing the wonderful, powerful ladies on Steemit the adorable who is a true inspiration to me yet again showed how true, quality unique content on Steemit can grow and earn big rewards - she already in her first few weeks on steemit had a post exceed $60, but then this one https://steemit.com/art/@bridget.art/with-my-son-first-ever-acrylic-painting-request-finished has grown to a mind boggling $166 reward - and that is naturally no artificial upvote or paying to get high votes. It's a clear indication to me that if you post unique, high quality content regularly then it will achieve high rewards. If you can then please for me alone, support @Bridget.art she left her full time job a stable income to live off her love of art - she is amazingly talented but needs us all to support her so she can achieve her dream.
In fact through my Steemit Journey I have encountered so many special, unique content creators it could take up two or three posts to cover them. In fact, that is my plan for the next week, supporting the superb content creators I am blessed to have found and follow on here. But for this vlog post at least, it's all about the very special, very strong ladies on Steemit - I'm old enough to think technology and the internet should be a male dominated domain - but in 2018 behind every strong Blockchain will be a stronger woman holding it all together. So many special, talented women are posting on Steemit right now - but there is no way I can cover them all. is such a hard working supporter of my work, and a inspirational lady in her own right with her love of animals and her pet dogs - every post she makes is truly stunning.
is another strong poster I am honoured to follow, superb content from a strong an enviable talent.
who I am relatively new to is so clever and sassy - she always has time for everyone and if you want a prime example of how to grow on Steemit she is it - share, support and grow - you will never find someone on Steemit who has more time for anyone then
.
I could go on, but there are plenty of blog posts to come for that. It would however be wrong of me to forget to mention the one person who guided me to to Steemit in the first place, Paul - as you know him has been a long time supporter of my flailing YouTube channel. He told me to join Steemit and I went OK and then didn't, he kept telling me to come here and eventually I joined but could not work out what to do. But even then Paul kept watching my videos and reminding me I should be posting my content on Steemit - here - for rewards. It took me a long time to join and then realise how I could find my way on here - but now I have it is a revalation - Steemit is my favourite place online - sharing content - finding new and exciting people to follow - it's amazing and unique and a privilege to be here with the rest of you.
