c0ff33 vlog 241117 - Steemit literally Blew my Mind!

Brr it's a chilly morning for the c0ff33 vlog, with a frosted up windscreen we are not moving anywhere fast but at least it gives me chance to do Mr Nellis's words of wisdom. And I'm in a short sleeve shirt, this is Yorkshire where the Men are Men and the sheep are scared 0_o

Once the screen clears what a view over glorious Halifax, I just hope I make it to work before the staff - would not like them to be waiting outside for me in the cold!

What could that glowing orb be peeping over the horizon? Much to talk about this week, my Steemit posts have gone well, I'm building my boy a gaming pc for Christmas, busy at work with 3 roast days this week - a new record and four nice men from Scotland came to see my Roasting machine and learn about roasting coffee.

It's blinding, while I do the sneaky little avoid the queue by taking the left lane and then doing a quick U-Turn to head the correct direction - the things I do to try and beat the staff to work - every second counts!

We make it before everyone else - good times we can open up before they arrive.

BUT - the most amazing part of this week I only discovered after doing this vlog. Taking a break from the bustle at work I was browsing though Steemit and noticed something very untoward - in fact down right crazy! All of a sudden I had a Steem Power delegation of 5000 SP - but how - and why? Giddy with excitement I headed over to some of my favourite posters to upvote them - and sure enough my normal upvote of 0.00sbd was suddenly giving 0.20sbd per upvote! WOW, I could really make a difference to to the amazing people I follow on Steemit - and while doing my best to support and upvote them - a zero value upvote is just a token gesture - now I can really make a difference.

How this happened is still a bit of a mystery, but I do now know my benefactor is Hive account@fulltimegeek - I am so very thankful that he chose to give me this short term Steem Power donation and I will do my very best to use it wisely while I have it. From what I have found from his blog and YouTube videos - he is using the hard earned Steem Power he built on Steemit to help encourage and grow the platform - by sharing out his own power to others he hopes to inspire them to encourage others, build the platform and invest in Steem not gain it and then sell out - something I myself really believed in but I did not have the capability to make a worthwhile difference.

But if Hive account@fulltimegeek intended to inspire he truly has, digging deeper I can see he has shared this to many people on Steemit - and when my term ends he will no doubt find others to also inspire. I'm pumped to go and find more and more people to upvote and comment on - share the upvote power I have while I have it and keep helping Steem to grow.
