I've been working on a STEEM based project and have been quiet lately; however, I feel I should share my opinions on Voice, the upcoming EOS dApp.
Is it a Steemit (dApp) competitor? Yes, however small.
Is it a STEEM (blockchain) competitor? Nope, not even close.
Not with SMTs, STOs 😉 and the plethora of dApps being built on STEEM.
Voice (in my opinion) is limited in scope. All it takes is for Jack to further combine Twitter and Square, add tipping etc and Voice is dead on arrival. We all know how he loves Bitcoin $BTC and the Lightning Network.
The pyramid-esk comment scheme is simply not proven (yet). Furthermore, Dan doesn't believe in decentralization— which is the main reason why I wouldn't touch this EOS dApp with a long stick. 🙅
Sorry to spoil the party, but Voice may be dead on arrival!
