Soul becomes unsanctified by the satanic impulses like lust,egoism,greed,delusion, discontentment and jealousy.Satanic impulse itself doesn't impurify soul but the misdeeds resulted from it impurify soul.When we commit any sinful act being provoked by the satanic impulses,the consequences of it leave a dark spot on our soul.These dark spots gradually corrupt the soul.Consequently,the soul loses its power.Ilnin refers to the place where the spiritual soul of a man rests in peace till his revival dying with Iman(steadfast belief on Allah)after leading a virtuous life and having got certified of his virtues.
