Politics is Immoral, no matter who is seeking political office. This means that I can't advocate Adam Kokesh for President 2020. There has been a lot of "Voluntaryists/Libertarians" that was all hopeful of Trump. Now the second wave of hypocrisy is happening, but with Adam Kokesh. The first wave is from Trump because many people see Trump as the "savior" of society maybe not perfect but he is an outsider of the political realm. Adam Kokesh's run for the White House is on the surface a "noble" one but what he is legitimizing the process of politics. Now, if one claims to be an Anarchist then I won't have a problem with them supporting Adam Kokesh, but as soon as a person claims to be a Voluntaryist and support Adam Kokesh, that is when I have an issue. Voluntaryism only works through voluntary means. Politics is immoral.
I was a little bit hypocritical on this issue of supporting a candidate or not. Since I believe that politics to the core is immoral why even participate in an immoral system? If I want to claim to be a Voluntaryist, I have to not participate in politics. I have to say politics is deeply immoral and I can't participate in that. The only good thing that I have going for me is that I'm a "baby" Voluntaryist. Much like a "baby" Christian, my understanding might not line up what I'm acting like or promoting. Right now I have corrected myself in being a true Voluntaryist. I'm sure I will make some mistakes here and there but I'm learning and trying.
