I have a problem: my vote power has gotten so low, it's now less than 1 cent. Can someone tell me what you think would be the smart, as well as ethical, thing to do? The way I see it, I have two options:
Not vote for like a week, to regain the little power that I do have, and then use it mostly for comments of the people who patronize my own posts.
Keep upvoting the people I follow and appreciate, even though my vote will not be giving them the reward they do deserve.
I have been trying to be saving with my votes, but there's just so many cool people out there who I would love to keep showing my appreciation, but feel powerless to do so.
I think I'll just stop voting for a week and stick to commenting instead. Then I also won't expect other people's upvotes; that will only be fair.
I guess the opinion of a minnow shouldn't matter as much by sheer design of the platform.
Well, I'm having fun on Steemit anyway and appreciate it for the communication it has to offer, rather than it being a money making platform. I just feel bad for the people who have befriended me so far and deserve more than just a pat on the back.
Any thoughts, anyone?
