Rise for Cause in Massachusetts!
This weekend, Friday, Sept 14, through Sunday, September 16, there will be a voter registration effort at the Boston Common Freedom Festival. It is predicted excellent weather in the high 70’s with no rain. The turnout might be very high. It generally is a crowd heavy in their late teens and twenties. There will be many who have never registered or who have moved in recent history, with their registrations out of date. Please come and help out with this very important effort that depends entirely on volunteer help.
There are lots of distressing things going locally and nationally. Many of those currently or potentially most adversely affected by developments are those who generally don’t vote. Let’s change that and make a statement so strong in this November’s elections that we wake the nation up!
If you can make it on any of those 3 days from noon-5, please look for Mass Cann tent near the Parkman Bandstand and ask to volunteer for voter registration.
