The mid oceanic ridges are, clearly, holes in the Earth shell. They formed, literally, as the Earth broke apart, they are literal holes through the entire Earth crust, indisputably so.
The south pole of Enceladus has a "hot spot" exactly at the south pole, where temperatures reach 100° C above the rest of the planet surface (NASA, 2008). These temperature spikes form along fractures dubbed "tiger stripes" (NASA, 2008), seen in the image below to the left. These "tiger stripes" are the source of what you see in the image below to the right, taken by Cassini in 2017.
