Life is like a mirage, certain things appear to be true but in reality it doesn't looks like how it seems. It is easier for people to pretend that all is well in their life when they are actually going through hell.
I met a couple one day and I really admired them for their intimacy, affection and love for each other. Always in their latest Toyota corolla driving to work and to church. Their relationship was something that everyone admired.
One day the guy had a serious complaint against his wife for the kind of treatment she is giving her at home. The marriage that I thought was made in heaven has been experiencing turbulences. Eventually the guy couldn't contain the situation anymore and had to back off.
This guy been a noble had tried to cope with whatever situation he was going through to ensure peaceful coexistence in the marriage. He could longer contain it. For all the times people thought all was well, all wasn't actually well.
Some people are good pretenders, they never show you their scars but only smiles and so before you think you the only one experiencing ill luck know that others are going through the worse.
Back at college people talk big about their family and their affluence and making me feel i was a loser and someone who wasn't doing well. After college I realised most of them had faked their identities and stories making it sound interesting. I felt bad in those days but it never hindered me from achieving my dreams because I was always focused.
You may be better off than the one you think is doing well than you. Often times we compare oursleves to others and wished to be them. Only you can see the need to concentrate on your life and avoid comparison you be going a one step in life.
Each day must be dedicated for working on yourself rather than having time for people. Don't be deceived by the kind of impression people put on, you never know the real story.
Be happy whether it is well or not, thank God for what you and what you haven't receive yet.
Encourage yourself whenever you are down and hey! remember your special and better than you think.
