Our homes as we have them now in Africa thrive on electronic gadgets. These of course are very beneficial, vastly improve living conditions and provide comfort in our homes.
The economic instability of most African countries, along with its stresses and strain that ensue predisposes its people on their patronage of electronic gadgets for use at home. Your income determines what gadgets you can afford.
The more affluent homes are able to equip themselves with the all state of the art general household electronics required to ensure a comfortable lifestyle whilst the average African home compensates by combining buying "second-hand" goods with that of brand new products to cut down cost. The less privileged homes are unable to or barely afford to buy the "second-hand products" per their income.
When your household electronic gadgets are in top quality shape, you will spend less on utility bills and have a healthier lifestyle but if they are in bad shape, then your health will be at risk. This will definitely add extra cost to your utility bills too. Though these gadgets are very beneficial in our daily lives, over reliance on some of them poses a great threat because their absence makes us unproductive.
The state our household gadgets are in have so many effects that could further be elaborated on but to conclude i want to send this message across, that it is best to use top grade materials and if you cannot afford them now that does not mean you cannot do it in the future. Find an alternative means, improvise, it can prevent a misfortune or accident and protect a life. Let us pave a grand way for the generations to come, for our actions today are their beacon of hope.
A positive lifestyle will bring out a positive outlook to life and promote positive work ethics to improve productivity and help build a better and brighter Africa.
