At a certain point in our life we are full of dreams, visions, ambitions and aspiring seriously of what our lives will become in future, we often have a mental picture of the future we want to feature into, we are working very to achieve all this, we are full of commitment, focus and very resilient in our pursuit of our dreams.
From the first day we are born into this earth our parents began to imagine what we will become in years ahead, the great professions we will undertake, from our home trainings to ours basic, elementary educational days, we are being nurtured on the fundamental life principles and the knowledge of reading and writing.
But from our college and tertiary school years we are specifically equipped with the knowledge we need to survive, now we employ more works and diligence to pass out of college and tertiary institution with good grades, the final years in school though very tedious and full of work, but the feelings of graduation always gets us excited, the joy of freedom from the troubles of school days and also the sense of independence from parents watch and dictates began to creep into our hearts, we are now walking into a full fledged young men and women, we can already picture the reality of our dream jobs, house, spouse and many more.
But it is at this very point that the paradox of life do unfold for us, now we thought that all our dreams, visions, and all our ambitions are very closer to us, now destiny and fate will come into play when the final results will come out some will pass and some will fail and repeat, some will get their dream jobs instantly, while some will remain unemployed for sometimes, some will get into a very good relationship and probably get married while some will not, it maybe said by some that they have eventually themselves in the future they have pictured for themselves, while so many may not at that very instant of graduation.
Somebody may ask why?
Iris the paradox of life, but does that means that some are made not to fulfil their dreams? No rather this very stage of life simply proves some people simply walked into their dream while some others has to work out their dreams.
So for one to eventually fulfil his or her dreams, the basics and fundamental trainings and higher educational credentials are not just all that is needed, but ones undying dreams will be the propelling force to do more than he have already did.
Dreams is not those things we sees when we close our eyes and sleep but those things we can never close our eyes and sleep without achieving them, just like Nelson Mandela who spent over 20 years in prison, and when he was asked what was keeping him alive and committed all those years he answered with a smile of fufiled dream " I have a dream "
So do you really have a dream?
Then wake up from the bed where you had it and do extra works to step into it.
