- Allow it to caramelize undisturbed until it achieves a rich, golden-brown color, also known as "guaranĂĄ" color.
3- Add Coconut:
- Lower the heat to prevent burning.
- Introduce 2 cups of shredded coconut to the caramel, stirring with the wooden-handled spatula until thoroughly mixed and thickened.
4- Incorporate Condensed Milk:
- Pour in œ box of PiraquĂȘ condensed milk.
- Stir continuously over low heat until the mixture becomes creamy and detaches from the pot's bottom.
5- Shaping the Cocadas:
- Turn off the heat but keep stirring to achieve the perfect consistency with the residual pot heat.
- Using a spoon, scoop out small portions of the mixture and place them onto a baking paper-lined tray, forming desired shapes.
6- Set and Serve:
- Allow the cocadas to cool completely and set before serving.
