Ingredients
For Baked Oats:
š¾ 200g oats
š 2 bananas, mashed
š¶ 1 tsp baking powder
š§ Pinch of salt
š° 50g ground almonds
š„ 1 egg
š¼ 1 tsp almond or vanilla extract
š„ 200ml milk
š„ 1 scoop vanilla protein powder Myprotein
For Almond Filling:
š° 20g ground almonds
šÆ 3 tbsp honey Rowse
š„ 2 tbsp almond butter Pip & Nut
š§ Dash of water or milk
Topping:
š° 1 tbsp flaked almonds
āļø Icing sugar optional
Instructions
1- Prepare the Oat Mixture:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 200g oats, 2 mashed bananas, 1 tsp baking powder, a pinch of salt, 50g ground almonds, 1 egg, 1 tsp almond or vanilla extract, 200ml milk, and 1 scoop optional vanilla protein powder Myprotein.
2- Mix Oat Mixture:
- Stir all ingredients thoroughly until well combined and consistent in mixture.
3- Prepare the Almond Filling:
- In a smaller mixing bowl, add 20g ground almonds, 3 tbsp Rowse honey, and 2 tbsp Pip & Nut almond butter. Stir to combine.
4- Adjust Filling Consistency:
- Gradually add a dash of water or milk as needed to achieve a thick, spreadable paste.
5- Assemble the Baked Oats:
- Evenly distribute the oat mixture among four oven-safe glass dishes e.g., IKEA jars.
6- Add Filling:
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of almond filling into the center of each dish, then gently swirl it through the oats with a spoon.
7- Add Topping:
- Sprinkle flaked almonds over the top of each portion.
8- Air Fry:
- Preheat the Ninja air fryer to 170°C. Place the filled dishes in the air fryer and cook for 13ā15 minutes, adjusting for desired gooeyness.
9- Cool and Serve:
