Ingredients
🍗 500g chicken breast
🌶️ 1 tablespoon chicken seasoning - Just Spices UK
🌶️ 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning - Just Spices UK
🧅 1 onion, finely diced
🌶️ 3 peppers, finely diced
🧄 3 teaspoons garlic purée (or 3 cloves)
🍝 300g pasta e.g., Orecchiette or shell-shaped
🧄 400ml chicken stock, warmed
🥛 600ml milk, warmed
🥄 1 teaspoon mustard - English mustard, optional
🧀 120g cheese - a mix of extra mature cheddar and mozzarella
🌿 Parsley for garnish, optional
🌶️ Chilli flakes for garnish, optional
Instructions
1- Season the Chicken:
- Combine the chicken seasoning and fajita seasoning with the chicken breast.
- Ensure the chicken is well coated.
2- Cook the Chicken:
- In a large frying pan or skillet over medium heat, fry the seasoned chicken until browned.
- Ensure the chicken is cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3- Sauté Vegetables:
- In the same pan, add the diced onions and peppers.
- Cook until soft, stirring occasionally.
4- Add Garlic:
- Stir in the garlic purée.
- Cook for about one minute until fragrant.
5- Incorporate Pasta:
- Add the uncooked pasta to the pan.
- Mix it well with the vegetables.
6- Add Liquids:
- Pour in the warmed chicken stock and milk.
