The Ukrainian army suffered a defeat at the hands of the Wagner Private Military Company (PMC) in Bakhmut. If we acknowledge Wagner's status as an elite force, it could provide an explanation for the failure. However, if we persist in portraying Wagner as a disorganized "bunch of convicts", it denegrades the Ukrainian army.
