The Big Agnes Hinman Double Wide Sleeping Pad is a great option for car camping or family camping. It is extremely comfortable and provides two and a half inches of thickness when fully inflated. The base is an open cell foam core which packs down to a relatively small size and expands when the valve is opened. This is considered a semi self-inflating sleeping pad and requires a bit of extra inflation to get the most thickness. The valve is easy to use and the seams and valve are very durable and airtight. The dimensions are sprawling for two people and the fabric on top is a nice brushed fabric which is relatively silent. It also comes with two compression straps and an oversized stuff sack with a carry handle. This sleeping pad is very comfortable, warm, and durable and provides a great night's sleep.
