I decided it was time to do another "Walk With Me" last night. We are not going far, just to do the chores. It will take a while though... There is about a foot of snow to tromp through. The backhoe has refused to start all winter. The snowblower sits there, demanding I run it and I refuse. Mark got in last night, he has a week off coming up, and I have a serious case of the clumsies of late. I smashed one hand and strained the wrist on the other, I am just NOT running that blower! So I am facing a slog through deep snow, the wind is HOWLING... lets go do some chores!😒
Don't forget to look up when you head out the door!
Lets see what they are going to feed me... Notice how many chickens and how few eggs? Some of these birds will be getting an appointment with destiny very soon. Most days are not this bad, but about half these girls are ancient and do not lay any more. What do YOU call a laying hen that does not lay...?
Now to feed the barn kitty. The "striped kitties" have been spraying, I am NOT feeding them if I can avoid it. I want them to MOVE before I have to deal with them in a more personal way.
Off to feed the banished rooster. I have 3 of them, I only wanted 2, and none of them will get along nicely. The old man is locked in a separate room in the barn, my Cornish Cross is with the girls, and this guy is awaiting a ride to town with the old hens, in a place he cannot hurt the roosters I DO want to keep.
And this was where "Walk With Me" ended. It is quiet up here, very, very quiet. Usually. Until a very noisy angel shows up... I hope will allow me to brag about being the "victim" of an #ophumanangels attack. It made me cry, but then I am a sap...
May your Life Walk be blessed with many angelic surprises!
NAMASTE'!
