For my full time job, I am a vessel operator for an oil spill response company. The jobs vary but most of the days we do what is called "Pre-Booming". This is when we wrap an oil containment boom 360 degrees around a vessel while they are transferring fuel. This containment is the first line of defense in the event that there is a spill into the water. Some days, like today, it is too picturesque not to take out the phone and snap a handful of shot. I hope you enjoy the scenery - welcome to my "office".
It just doesn't get any better than this
Am I really getting paid for this!?
