Usually I am not a winter person but being away in the Rocky Mountains, I am enjoying the cold and all the snow. Aspen, Colorado is absolutely stunning. The elevation of Aspen is 7809ft so it does take a day or two to adjust to the altitude.
It used to be a mining town so while walking around town, you can see the old architecture.
There are lots of art galleries and unique stores.
Make sure you say hi to the bear which is in the center of Aspen square.
I saw a cool mural behind a coffee shop.
There is also an the Aspen Art Museum which is a cool modern building.
At night, the town is magical with all the lights.
