The second display so far this winter...

And I did not want to go outside, it was bloody freezing, yet I had to because it was so beautiful I knew I would regret it if I didn't.

The photos don't really do it justice, I'll tell you, every single deciduous tree was covered in angelic white ice crystals, a phenomenon that only happens rarely.

In real life, the white was so bright shining through the forest...it was pure magic.

In the background it looks like there could be smoke or something, but it's the shining of all of the frosted trees which is making the background all white.
