Mr. Pendock and his older ladies are already in bed...

They are much smarter than those silly teenagers, and go to bed nice and early to get the best spots on the roost. The teens are all out partying still, and have not learned yet, this means getting a bad spot, or even worse, no spot come nightfall.

Mr. Pendock is quite happy to nestle in with his favourite fluffy white #chickenbitches at 4pm. He pities the fools who miss out on this action. And the black hen in the back, craning her neck, is feeling a lot of longing wishing she too could snuggle up to Mr. Pendock. One day she may get her chance, but it's not today.

I still have a few eggs to collect...oops!

And Alfalfa thinks she's gonna hatch some...

For the last 4 days she's convinced that she is going to be a Mother. We just can't hatch eggs right now, it's winter honey! Your chicks would not do well. So we have to move her off of the eggs, getting bitten 10-20 times while she makes a hideous squealing sound. I can't blame her...I know what it's like when that biological clock is ticking!

The Teenagers

Prowling around, convinced I still have a treat in my pocket. They're not smart like Pendock and his bitches who know the treats end by 2pm.

Buddy is content with eating gravel and grass.

The Punisher looks extra punishy with the wind blowing her feathers the wrong way...

Sonic AKA Smelly Belly is looking a little punishy herself today, she must not like her new nickname...who could blame her?
