This is the last part of "Walk With Me- Watch the Park Bloom." Part One can be found HERE, Part 2 can be found Here, and Part 3 can be found HERE.
I went back to the park another month later which was the end of July and everything was in full bloom, and the butterflies and insects were flying. I was taking a photo of the Clouded Sulphur butterfly and caught this incoming Monarch in flight.
The Joe Pye Weed was in full bloom. I love the mauve color of these flowers.
The petals were gone on this coneflower but the Red Admiral butterfly didn't care.
The Red Admiral butterfly flew over to this Bee Balm.
And then it flew on my shirt which was the highlight of my day. Looks like it is was testing to see if the flowers on my shirt were real.
This is a Silvery Checkerspot butterfly.
Here are some of the coneflowers with the petals still on them.
This Cicada Killer Wasp was a fan of the coneflowers too.
I was happy to catch this Cicada Killer Wasp in flight, even though it is a blurry photo. They sure do fly fast.
It is time to leave the park and I hope you enjoyed the walk.
