In another classic move to bully everyone around with threats and continue to impose covert warfare on Iran, the U.S. is going after anyone who dares to defy the will of the almighty "land of the free". They will sanction anyone that buys oil from Iran.
No exemptions will be made, said Brian Hook, U.S. Special Representative for Iran, on Friday.
"We will sanction any imports of Iranian crude oil""
"There are right now no oil waivers in place. We will sanction any illicit purchases of Iranian crude oil"
This comes days after reports that China is importing Iranian oil in defiance of the will of the USA, and also days after President Trump and Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had a spat about the White House being retarded and Trump threatening to obliterate Iran.
The pressure is mounting on Iran since they took down a spy drone last week.
The statements coming out of these talking heads is retarded itself. "illicit purchases of Iranian crude oil"? Seriously?
The only thing that makes it "illicit" is because the big bully authority decided to make it illicit by dictating it to be so. Just like any drug being made illegal and creating an "illicit drug trade".
Tehran has been hit by sanctions since last year, but they are selling their oil at below market prices. Apart from China, other buyers are Brazil and India.
This free market purchase of oil from Iran goes against the U.S.' plan to pressure them into negotiating a new deal. This is since Trump terminated a previous deal where sanctions were lifted to curtail the Iranian nuclear programme.
Cutting oil sales to 0 was who they planned to force Iran to do what the U.S. wanted. And now, three countries are blowing up that plan by freely engaging in in trade against the U.S. will. How dare they! Like any authoritarian bully, better ramp up the threats to try to make them comply with you will.
Who broke the deal? Trump. Yet, Iran is being blamed in two-faced political spin. Hook said:
"Iran has just rejected diplomacy too many times."
Really? The one who breaks a deal and then applies sanctions in covert warfare, is the one who is actually rejecting diplomacy.
To further add to the Orwellian double-speak, Hook accuses Iran of exactly what the U.S. has been doing violently in the Middle East: "to remake the Middle East in its image".
"This is a clerical regime that wants to remake the Middle East in its image – and that would deeply destabilise the Middle East to have regimes following the same Marxist theocratic regime."
Between Iran and the U.S., once is clearly remaking the Middle East while the other less so. It's a big joke to see this hypocrisy, and realize many people will buy it too.
