Today all of sudden I was bound to think of Iraq by looking at a picture of Iraq war over internet. So I started reading over it and came to an opinion that it should not be happen.
Fifteen years ago in the year 2003 U.S.A. has did one of its biggest and highly expensive mistake by attacking over Iraq.
The first lesson we learned after toppling Saddam Hussein was that our main reason for invading the country -- IRAQ'S NUCLEAR-WEAPONS PROGRAM -- DIDN'T EXIST.
Former Vice President of 2003 Dick Cheney at the time of attacking over Iraq said that We will be welcomed as the MESSIAH. The ruling President of that time Mr. George W. Bush said that undoubtedly Iraq has the large numbers of lethal atomic weapons & the Defense minister said that the majority of the expenditures over Iraq attack will be bear by U.S.A. and the battle in Iraq will last in five days or five weeks or five months maximum more than this not a single day will be add-ons.
The US withdrew the last of its troops from Iraq, the final phase in the "Eight-year operation" in December, 2011 which has cost billions of dollars and many thousands of lives.
According to Economist Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes over this war total expenditure of U.S.A. was around $3.0 Trillion, in other words $24,000 over per American citizen. The US has lost 4,487 service personnel in Iraq since the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom on 19 March 2003, according to the latest figures from the US Department of Defense. Around 5.0 lakh Iraqi civilians lost their lives.
Even today 57% of U.S.A. American citizens agree that attack over Iraq was a mistake.
