Rule 1
I am the judge; you can be the jury.
Rule 2
I know the correct answer; it will be published the following week.
Rule 3
I will include 2 replies to a War Vote which represent the Options. You must pick the correct reply to win.
Rule 4
To be a potential winner, you must do two things:
1. Upvote the War Voting post, and
2. Upvote the Reply with the correct Option (like A or B). Voting for more than one Option or downvoting will disqualify you.
Rule 5: Tiebreaking
Multiple winners would arise if there wasn't a tie breaker. Here's how I determine the tie breaker code. After the 7-day payout, I visit Steemdb.com for the correct answer's comment. Each person who upvotes will have an rshares value on the data page. The comment will have a payout listed as sbd_payout. The three least significant digits of sbd_payout will be compared against the three least significant digits of rshares for each upvoter. The person or persons who come closest to matching this 3-digit number wins!
Example
In the beta version, War Voting 0, the winner would have been , as the correct answer was Option B. The payout was
2.832 SBD and his rshares were 155602097974. His 974 was closest to the 832 for the four voters. Link to data page.)
Rule 6: Winner Payouts
The winner receives 100% of the SBD payout for the correct comment. In the unlikely event that multiple winners exist due to tying the tiebreaker, they will share this prize.
Rule 7: Bonus Payouts
The winner receives 10% of the SBD payout for the War Voting Post if its payout exceeds $100 SBD.
The winner receives 20% of the SBD payout for the War Voting Post if its payout exceeds $250 SBD.
