Water is a precious commodity. In the Southern Queensland Outback where drought seems to be more common these days, every rain event is a chance to collect more water. On this house, rainwater is used in the Shower and Kitchen. Bore water is used to flush the toilet. Here we see two large water tanks which collect water from the house. There is an electric pump to circulate the water in the house. These tanks are around 15,000 litres and 7000 litres in capacity.
