Good day to all my fellow steemians around the world, I am glad because despite the downfall of the market we are still here, happy and enjoying the platform.
It's name is "PANSIT BIHON" one of the most famous food dish in the philippines, pansit means noodles while bihon refers to the type of noodles used, pansit in the philippines is often cooked for a special occassions, birthdays and festivities. It is believed that eating noodles gives you long life and good health, pancit must be cooked and served uncut as it would adverse it's symbol, I love eating pancit with tasty bread or with a pizza combo.
It is also believed that pansit or noodles were introduced to the philippines by the early chinese settlers.
The term pancit is derived from the Hokkien pian i sit (Chinese: 便ê食; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: piān-ê-si̍t or Chinese: 便食; pinyin: biàn shí) which literally means "convenient food."
