I am always keeping my eye on the weather and radars and love seeing interesting phenomena. I'm a bit of a weather geek, no wonder why I also own my own weather station.
Right now a really cool-looking rain band approaches here in Estonia. Just came from outside and the clouds look really cool.
When looking at the Estonian radar map, the rain goes almost in a straight line, throughout the country from west to East.
The cloud front actually extends much farther than only Estonia. In fact, this same band starts all the way from northern Norway, through Estonia until southern Lithuania.
Radar map from Windy.
At the moment the cloud front reached here and it got very dark really fast. Should be pretty heavy rain coming in a few moments, I can hear the first raindrops.
I will see my weather station data afterward, on how much rain fell during this event.
