Yikes, the weather lady just said that 120+ MPH winds will extend 60 miles inland from the eye of the hurricane and I live about 6 miles from the beach in Savannah. I just hope he turns ands follows the coastline like they expect!

Earlier I stopped at Kroger to get some things and a lot of the shelves were empty. There was no water or bread in sight. I'm preparing the best I can and plan to stay put and ride out the storm. I plan to shoot videos Saturday as the storm arrives. We lost power the other week when Tropical storm Hermine passed nearby for a solid 24 hours.
It's seriously scary to think how much of Savannah is below sea level. The Savannah river is projected to rise 6-8 feet. That would submerge River Street and most of downtown!
Tybee Island, just nearby has already been evacuated. At least they have a sense of humor.
