The past week or so i have had my brother over here from Australia to conduct and help me out with some business dealing over here in Bangkok we got through most of all that last week so this week i am spending some quality time with my brother so we agreed on visiting the IconSiam know as the mother of all malls around the world.
I have been to the IconSiam Mall on a couple occasions already but i love taking people there just to see the expressions on their faces when they encounter this mother of all malls.
As you walk into this mall the ground floor is made of many varieties of coffee shops and further in it's set up with many vendors from all the provinces of Thailand selling there cultural foods just spectacular and yummy.
I could not begin to tell you how many choices of food you have on this ground floor literary thousands of choices we decided on having some fresh oysters and some Japanese sushi slightly BBQ by a flaming torch for lunch.
Chicken , Beef and Pork dishes with veggies.
And some delicious sweet cakes for desert.
Now that we were energized with that superb lunch we starting walking up to the next levels , even though i was here a few months back the mall had still not fully opened it's doors to many upcoming shops so there were a lot of new shops and restaurants that had opened since my last visit here.
Some really nice feature walls were put up like these red cedar planks of wood decorated by artificial flower and greenery.
The new model Aston Martin was available if you had your gold card with you at a small cost of $800,000 US dollars. What a machine.
But since i don't have a gold card and with Steem dollar not doing us any justice at the moment i will have to go for a Tuk Tuk or maybe horse and cart if the Steem dollar keeps dropping like this....lol :)
These ornaments or sculptures that i was seeing around the mall were very colorful and unusual in the way they were made with color tubing , straws , colored strings and artificial flowers very beautiful and effective and a lovely resting point or a quick nap.
A few other interesting beautiful displays around the mall that caught my eye.
We ventured up to the 4th floor and walk out onto the patio to show my brother some of the breathtaking views of the Chao Phraya River and the city of Bangkok from a higher perspective.
Everything in this mall was done to style and perfection every rest room was done in different Thai fashion manner like this one just amazing there was no holding back on beauty.
My last visit to this mall a few months ago i remember they were still working on the 6th Floor which was going to be a giant like waterfall pouring out of the ceiling well this was completed and let me tell you what a spectacular job hats of to the architects. They even had the name IconSiam in letters following through the dropping waterfall what brilliant technology.
The actual water was dropping into a pool below surrounded by the most beautiful flowers and lush green garden and these flowers were not artificial.
The white and pink orchids were just stunning actually all the orchids were just beautiful.
Around this romantic colorful waterfall setting you will see many restaurants built in a space capsule design were you can dine as if you were in a rain forest with little rivers running around the capsules.
Here you will find Thai food , Japanese cuisine's , Korean foods and many more Asian foods and also Western and European foods and dining in a pleasant atmosphere.
