Today was a day of superlatives.
My gig was at Presbyterian Village of Austell, Hearthstone (Memory Care)

I've played there almost since the beginning here in Atlanta every month,
but the hip surgery, then a new AD, I think I'm back to every other
month at the moment.
I swear she said I was to be on the first floor, and the calendar at the
front desk said the same, so I took the elevator down.
But as I was setting up (early of course) she came in and said she had told
them all upstairs that I would BE upstairs.
They were having a birthday party.
I offered to move, since I had time, but she said no.
In the end, we had a completely filled room!!
At one point I had THREE COUPLES up dancing!!!
Sadly, I didn't even carry my camera in, nor could I use my phone while
I was performing.
It was great and everyone had a real big time, including Carrie,
the dog
(she didn't want to cooperate with the photos, but every time I was over there singing to her mom and pop, I'd lean over and sing to her, and her tail would go crazy)
Getting home, was another matter entirely.
Normally, I eschew the interstates, but it was early (I was on the road by 3:25)
I got on to I-285, which from S Cobb to I-20 is only a few mile hop, and
normally I have plenty of time to make my way across to the far lane
from which to get on I-20, today it was crazed.
I had time to get over, but because of an accident JUST before I-20,
the two right lanes were blocked.
It took me 45 min to travel 3 miles.
(It looked like more than one accident too.)
But I made it home safely nonetheless.
Sorry, not too many photos, so it may not qualify for
