I found an assortment of things to take photos of this morning while on my 5 minute walk.

The little plants in the mosiac planter that my d-i-l made for me remind me that they need their daily watering.

I noticed these odd patterns on the leaves of this weed that was growing in the vinca along the driveway.

Upon closer inspection, I found this guy asleep on one of the lower leaves, so I'm pretty suspicious that he may have created these trails!

The hydrangeas are beginning to open. They always attract lots of insects and I need to remember to keep an eye out for photo opportunities this week.

There were plenty of critters out and about this morning..

I'll end my walk with this photo that I took this week of a silly squirrel on the hook that holds a couple of baskets of flowers on my deck. I'm not sure if he is in love, or just checking out the bird to see if it is edible!
