An year ago I have a post about our young forest and how we took care of it. This week we went there to plant new trees. Let me show you around.
The forest is on a hill near the factory. We took all the necessary equipment and off we go. We had rainy week, but then two dry and windy days followed. The ground was not muddy and the afternoon was quite pleasant with few clouds on the sky and light breeze.
The youngest trees with their new buds caught my eye instantly.
The acacia is still blooming with nice yellow blossoms.
The hawthorn was trimmed by my colleague to look more like a tree.
The oldest trees are ten years old. Each year we add new ones - ash-tree, acacia, tilia(lime-tree), Ginkgo biloba.
The view from the hill.
I did not seee much flowers. There were wild strawberries along the path and this yellow flower.
When we finished our job before we returned in the offices we had cup of tea / coffee together with some treats from the canteen. Not bad for couple of hours spending in the fresh air and having done something useful. I was pleased to see our forest growing.
In the end some editted images.
This was my #wednesdaywalk thanks to , who initiated the challenge.
Thank you for visiting.
