Since the Seasons have changed rather abruptly I've been taking it in stride and enjoying the wonders of nature while having fun experimenting with my new camera!
The cat doesn't go out much now for it is too cold on his tootsies as you can see in the icy prints their warm paws leave on the deck

The dog (and us for that matter) we take out twice a day for his walk and to do his business (sometimes it is shorter than other times.)

Although the frost makes for rather crisp fresh air it's sparkling displays can be such a delight!

The grater had cleared away some of the snow from the roadway and the next day the exposed grasses and plants had been touched by Jack Frost's artistry! Have a look at the wondrous new creations which totally transformed the browning blades of grass and wilting clover.

There is something about the wonders of nature that brings such delight to me! So even though I was totally chilled kneeling in the frosty ground marveling at Jack Frost's designs I was happy I had taken the time to stop and take a closer look!
Something like stopping to smell the roses, it is stopping to take in the marvels of nature!
