Wednesday Walk is initiated by .
My happy walk was a few minutes outside my door to see what flowers were still blooming.
First I saw a lovely group of daisies growing along the driveway.
This is a Silver Mound. It comes up every year and has little silver flowers later this summer.
The colourful Coneflowers are not as tall as usual. the late frost must have stunted their growth but they’re tough little flowers.
Along the edge of the lawn is Golden Rod. Like many herbs is has beneficial properties.
One benefit is to make golden rod into a tea to help flush the kidneys and urinary tract.
It’s another hot day but temperature is suppose to cool down over the weekend.
I leave you with the lovely Burgundy Lilies that are still blooming.
