Here's a few springtime shots from a walk around the neighborhood for #wednesdaywalk by
This first shot is from an early morning walk on a path nearby my house. Its a bit of edible splitgill mushroom that is nice and soft from a rain the night before.
These rose hips are nice and dewey from the rain the night before.
These buds are blooming from all the rain.
The snowdrops are blooming as well.
I'm not sure what these wildflowers are but they resemble a mini tulip.
Tons of them were growing on the edge of the pathway.
The center of these flowers have a bit of yellow in them.
Here's a shot of the pathway. Perhaps the morel mushrooms will be growing here soon...
Speaking of mushrooms here are the undersides of some turkeytail fungi.
Here's a closer shot of the pores. Turkeytail is a nice medicinal mushroom that is high in vitamin d and has anticancer compounds.
The triliums are also starting to come out over here.
This trilium's leaves have opened. Soon there will be some red leaves opening up in the center.
The pathway leads to a boathouse that is nice and visible in the morning.
Now for the pesky fence ornament that scares my fiance all the time. This time my neighbors have dressed the fake crows up for easter lol. Happy #wednesdaywalk.
