itβs just after 10:42am and itβs sunny and light out, iβm sitting outside and listening to nature, birds are singing and i have my coffee we just fetched from the store, dayle is on the matt getting her meditation and her yoga in, itβs absolutely stunning out this morning.
writing this to you from the fresh cleaned screen aging laptop this morning, it takes a while to get going (bit like me these days) but once itβs booted up we are ready to roll, a faster ssd would certainly improve that boot up, load time but itβs just a want rather than a need, more money for a few seconds.
it seems we are always in the business of buying time.
yesterday was a bust, a non-event, i did a bunch of little admin jobs, made some podcast graphics, did some animated thumbnails, sweated the small stuff, i was in a real funk, so much so that i never even wanted to record a podcast which is a shame because we were trying to do them daily.
some days you just fall off the face of the planet and i feel thatβs ok, i realise if you have responsibility everyday, family or work thatβs near on impossible but when you have the time and moments to do it you should, itβs a recharge that you need to take.
talking of recharge iβve just found my fitbit charger this morning so i know that i can get back to logging all that again, dayle mentioned it this morning, iβd kinda not wanted to go into the caveous spaces of the van to dig for it incase of finding stuff that i did not know where to put after!
sitting with my laptop outside is nice even thou there is a bit of a breeze i can feel that warming sunshine on my back and that breeze is nice, you can feel the energy of the nearby towns in full production life mode a number of fields over, itβs like being in the middle of tornado. quiet and yet eerie.
been having trouble trying to record useful tutorials that fit into the flow of the courses yet at the same time are fit for purpose for either or
β it makes perfect sense to release them daily and yet put them into the online course too on skillshare, udemy and youtube.
i want to do a lot more with affiliate stuff, just one video last week paid out Β£50 that i never knew i had from people trying a VPN (speedify) that i use, with the right promotion who knows that might be more, i need to be more aware of that when i do my making - that little bit of scratch money paid for some software for our podcasting, itβs my favourite way to work, iterate bit by bit and move things forward, polishing up as you go.
we will get another podcast out today iβm sure, is working on some graphics for the show and iβm gonna head inside in a minute to get that stuff setup for recording and start looking around for my
articles for the day β i post around 3/4 per day around 3pm GMT each day, so if your interested in what iβm looking at check out
kinda excited to spend a bit of time hopefully tomorrow going through a drive that i backed up a bunch of stuff too β i know iβve got a stack of stuff on there that i need to go through, projects that were half way and concepts to pick up on, i like to be busy you know? keeps my brain active, i like momentum, i donβt like stagnating.
was thinking about streaming my exploration and usage of the software framer on β iβm looking to make three apps or at least web apps with interfaces that work on mobile around the steem blockchain, mainly as useful tools i can use myself but also so i can learn β the first obvious place for me to start is mockups then working out how to construct that as a real life walk through app.
i know at some point iβm going to have to spend time deep diving and learning a language, i liked python and found it extremely powerful with the basic stuff i was doing but i just donβt see where the bridge is between mobile and that.
i know i have to learn the fundamentals to take the same processes across to something like ionic or node and even electron β itβs not that i donβt have the capability to learn itβs just WHICH ONE?! :)
i hate not picking the right one for me when i donβt know which is gonna be right for me, itβs like a million ways to code and none of them might be the right one, i donβt want to spend forever as a code monkey β i much prefer the front end, the happy clapper, styling, UX and UI and stepping through that, maybe itβs just that iterative thing i was talking about above.
think itβs time to get inside and get started on the day, the coffee is taking effect and waking up the neurons inside, the elastic brain is flexing and wanting to get started, sitting here while comfy and the coffee great with the calming karma vibes from to my left i feel if i donβt start soon it will be too easy to get lost in browser tab hell.
ok, letβs get this midweek, letβs see how much we can get out of wednesday, time to make, time to build, push forward β bit by bit, day by day.
