This is my first steemit post, so I'm not familiar with the website quite yet, but figured I would at least post a little story to get my account started!
So, I work at a pizza shop (large chain company) and my previous manager, being a chill stoner type, had recently quit her job to move out of state. I was used to coming in high a lot of the time on slow nights, and so I would also call up the plug before or after work to buy weed since I didn't have a car at the time, and my old boss had no problem with me having it in the store. SO, to get on with the story... We had a manager from a nearby store come in for a few days to fill in, and she was pretty cool but I decided not to smoke or anything before work just because I didn't know her. Next day comes along, and my Dad dropped me off at work, while my plug was already on the side of the store waiting for me to come pick up from him. I picked up from him, probably a quarter ounce, and I remember it being stanky as fuck. Key part of the story. So, I walk in to the store, very happy with this bomb ass weed I just picked up, and look into the eyes of some fat guy I've never seen before wearing a manager shirt. He actually seemed pretty chill, and I just went on to do my job. Next thing I know, manager number 2 comes along (who also smokes), and right in front of the new manager announces that I reek like weed......... Really bro... So after I told him to shut up, and I actually have weed on me, the new manager walks over wondering what's going on and what that funny smell is. For some reason, and I have no clue why, he decides to tell the manager what I have in my pocket. I couldn't believe he said that but the new guy just took us to the back, where guy #2 decides to tell him how great of a worker I am, and how I would never do that even though I just did it, lol. Apparently he was convincing enough, and I was able to keep my job and a good relationship with the new manager while I just had the guy who snitched on me put it in his car. Talking to my manager about this now, he told me he almost fired me that day until he realized I was a good employee and could just keep it out of work.
