It has been a while since I posted anything hemp or cannabis related. Over the last few months I've been experimenting with many of the hemp derived gummy products. If I'm being honest, they all pretty much hit the same. Some taste better than others. Most tasted decent. I've had a brand or two that tasted like ass, not that I've ever tasted ass, but if I did I suspect it would taste a lot like a few of these products. For the most part though, most of the products I tasted were delicious, and they all hit fairly hard.
Vena Mood Elevation
With that said, a few products stood out over the rest and those are the ones I'd like to write about today. The first product is Vena Cloud 9 Gummies. These were sold as Mood Elevation Gummies. What I found interesting about all the products I'm about to write about, is that they were sold almost as a health supplement. For instance, these Vena Gummies are mood enhancing. Each gummy contains, 50 mg CBD, 5mg hemp derived THC, 30mg Saffron.
I purchased the Vena gummies from one of those "free offers" just pay shipping. I got 30 gummies for under $10 shipped to my door. I was a little disappointed when I seen the THC content was only around 5mg. Well, I don't know if it was the combination of the added CBD and Saffron, but man these hit as hard as some 25mg gummies I've purchased.
On top of that the CBD and Saffron content did indeed elevate my mood. I only took one gummy in a 24 hour period. These were noticeably different from all the other gummies I took though and as the kids say these days, these gummies slapped!
Now throughout the day, I'd vape hemp derived THC vape carts and seriously, between the gummies and the vape cart hits throughout the day, the highs were comparable to any cannabis derived THC products I've tried. On that note, I've been vaping THC-P carts and they're almost as good as cannabis derived THC carts at a fraction of the cost.
Nama Gummies
I purchased a sample pack of the Nama Hemp derived THC products. I think I got 9 individually wrapped gummies. The packaging was really nice. The products themselves were typical. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. The price also seemed a little high 😆 However, two of their products stood out over the rest.
These two products are worthy of mention. When I first seen the THC content at only 2mg, my first thought was MEH! What a waste. Although I rarely take more than one gummy in a 24 hour period, I decided to take the Energy Gummy for a little afternoon fun, and the sleep gummy before I went to bed.
I'll start with the Energy Gummy. The package touts THC for uplifting, CBD for balance and L-Theanine for clarity. So you get 50mg of L-theanine, 1000mcg of B12, and 2.5mg of hemp derived Delta-9 THC.
The energy gummy didn't really make me feel high at all. Surprisingly it did put me in an exceptionally good mood though. There was energy. I felt creative. Mood was great. I think the price is a little steep on these products but I have to admit, I enjoyed these. It was the perfect gummy for the day I had too. A family member got sick and I ended up spending most of the day in the emergency room. I wasn't high, just feeling good, and it definitely helped in dealing with the situation at hand.
Now the Sleep gummy was the real surprise. Again, I'd been vaping THC-P all night. But the combination of CBD 25mg, Melatonin 3mg, and just 2mg of THC. I took the gummy about 10 minutes before bed and man did I sleep good. I haven't taken Melatonin for sleep in a really long time. I laid down in bed and I was down for the count.
The only thing I didn't like about these gummies is I felt really sluggish in the morning. They almost worked a little too well. I didn't want to wake up at my usual time and two coffees into my morning I still felt foggy and tired. Regardless, if you're looking for sleep, these worked really well!
Summary
So I guess Supreme Leader Trump is having the Hemp Farm Bill rewritten to change the laws on hemp derived THC products. I really think that is sad. We have a product that is a little less potent than cannabis derived THC. On top of that, we have several companies selling them as supplements.
I really like the idea of THC as a health supplement. I think just as it was starting to get the respect it deserved, they decided to slam it down again. My mother is in her mid 80s and still very active. She confessed to me the other night that even a couple of her close friends started using these products and in a couple cases they were life changing. So before you pass judgement, do a little research because these products work!
People are taking these products for sleep, pain, and yes, also for recreational use. The general public has spoken with their pocket books and the sales of these products are through the roof. We're talking billions of dollars. Nobody has died. Nobody has gotten hurt. Yet, for whatever reason, we just cant leave THC alone. I don't get it. Yet alcohol is perfectly fine and ridiculously more dangerous than most of these hemp and cannabis derived products combined. It really is the ultimate hypocrisy for a country who goes on and on about personal freedom and liberty.
One of the reasons I take THC products is for insomnia and also lower back pain and arthritis. I finally found some great products to use and now they'll probably be outlawed around the start of 2027.
With that said, I didn't get paid for this post. I didn't link any products because I'm not really trying to promote anything. Just a friendly conversation about hemp derived THC gummies. If you're interested, Google or use the search portal of your choice to find out about these products.
Regardless, I've finally found several hemp derived THC products that really work for me. In many instances I like these products more than their cannabis counterparts. Most of them are less dopey, and just as useful medically. Nothing here is meant as health advice. Seek a licensed health professional for such advice not some moron on the internet who calls himself The Dood, that would be just stupid!
Do you have a favorite gummy product? Are you currently using any THC products? I wonder if there is anything we can do about the upcoming legislation affecting these products? It would be nice to speak up and stop the law from passing. I could see if people were overdosing and dropping like flies, but that's not what's happening here. Why can't our government ever just leave well enough alone? Why do they always stick their noses where they don't belong? Don't want to take THC products, don't do it! It's that simple. That's true freedom and the American way. We may not always like what our neighbors are doing, but if it's not harming anyone, they should have the right to do it! That is all and thanks for reading!
