I think last year I spent nearly a million dollars on Roundup. I am not certain but it was definitely more than 200 bucks.
Well the weeds didn't think much of it and came after me again. Being the kind of guy I am, I searched all over for organic stuff. I am sure for those who may have philosophical opposition to Roundup makers, YouTube videos and blogs about vinegar received a heartwarming welcome.
So vinegar plus soap ( for surfactant) and Epsom salt ( just because you feel like McGyver) is very effective in appearance but does not kill the plant and the weeds grow right back within less than 1 week.
Unless you can get the neighborhood kid to spray vinegar daily for 50 cents an hour, your McGyver days are over.
Glyphosate is still the best chemical to kill the plants and the roots. It is the MOAB of bombs.
Look at the Roundup bottle. Glyphosate 1%
Look at this alternative
41% Glyphosate! You just need to mix a cap full into 1 gallon of water. You can use more if you wish. Still cheap as peanuts or just as cheap as my steemit posts, which are cheaper than peanuts.
The results are amazing. By percent volume about 2 cap full in 1 gallon of water should approximate the big bottle of Roundup.
