This weekend was a good one.
On Friday night, my wife and I attended a charity event. I helped the organization out a little for the event as well, as I picked up and delivered some art easels that were used as part of the silent auction. It ended up being a late night, and the kids were not feeling too great, so it was a restless Friday night/Saturday morning.
On Saturday, we hung around the house and did a few chores in the morning, and then headed over to some friends house in the afternoon. The friends also have a couple of kids, so they all enjoyed playing together... it was a good time!
There are quite a few fires happening here in California, and some are fairly close by, which has impacted the air quality. Due to them, it is recommended for little to no outside time for kids, so we had to cancel our plans for Sunday to go to a local theme park. Instead we we hung around the house, watched movies, and ate some good food. The weather has been fairly cool, so we were able to cuddle up on the couch with the kids in blankets, which we all really enjoyed.

Overall, it was a fairly lower key weekend, but a refreshing one none the less! I hope each of you had a good weekend as well!
