Hola world💗
The weekend is here again when it felt like Saturday was just a few days back. "Where did the week go?" I heard my alter ego rhyme in. I'm not complaining, just shocked, lol!
Well, Dad echoed my surprise. He thought it was still Thursday when I spoke with him earlier today, so I corrected him. He could not believe his mind was 2 days off until he started counting what he had done since Monday. He realized he had been so busy with things that he lost track of time. At least he accomplished something tangible in real life, unlike this gal who had just been drifting through the days. Yikes!😁
The hubby thought I had infected him with some lazy bug, he couldn't complete a set of tasks in a day. "Come on dahling, don't blame me. You have been glued to your phone for hours each day, watching reels, playing games, and whatever else," I teased. He laughed hard, admitting to his folly.
Are we all guilty of such? Wasting time like we had an infinite amount of it?
Anyhow, it's okay if done once in a blue moon, but if we do it every day, we must wake up and do something about it. Time is fleeting, and if we are to check off most things on our list, every second is vital and should be spent well, noh?
Speaking of lists, I have a very short one on-chain in the form of goals. And as usual, the days has come to visit them and see how they have fared in the week.
HBD Savings
- Current Balance: 1,506 HBD
- Previous Week: 1,487 HBD
- Growth: 1.27%
19 HBD was added in the last seven days, an average of 2.7 HBD a day. Still good, although it's a bit short, considering we have 243 days left in the year. But that's nothing to worry about, I'll just enjoy the journey toward it.
Stacking Sats (BTC)
- Current Balance: 158,175
- Previous Week: 152,391 sats
- Growth: 3.79%
Just about 5,784 sats added in the week. That's decent enough for me, especially since Bitcoin's price is above $90k. Still DCA'ing through the auto-convert feature in one of the world's largest crypto exchanges. I'm thinking about moving it somewhere decentralized but my lazy arse kept procrastinating. So maybe I'll just keep it there until the end of the year.
Overall, my week on-chain has been fruitful compared to my real world. The truth is that I feel I'm not doing enough. "Priorities," my sister reminded me when I vented out my frustration. She's right. Concerns of well-being has it that certain adjustments had to be made. And it's okay...
